Top Ten Nigerian Songs Of The Week: Kizz Daniel’s ‘Lie’ Devotes Sixth Week At No. 1 [TurnTable Top 50]

"Bloody Samaritan" Ayra Starr is moving to No. 2.

“Lie” by Kizz Daniel is the first song that is on Top 50 at the TurnTable for the first six weeks.

Plus, “Bloody Samaritan” from Ayra Starr is up to the number two on the chart to become the highest chart song of the artist.

“Somebody Son” with Brandy Tiwa Savage moves to No. 9 as the first all-female partnership that reaches the top 10.

The Top 50 mixes freemium streaming in all types, including Top Streaming Chart, Radio Airplay, and TV Airplay in Nigeria. Every chart is updated and reviewed on Mondays. The Chart for this week will appear on Tuesday, 21 September 2021 with the release on Monday, 20 September, of the TurnTable Year to Date (YTD) Charts.

“Lie” reached 48.8 million radios (up 6%), equivalent streams (down 9.7%) 2.32 million, and television reached 8.83 million (up 64.4 percent ).

As now the norm for “Lie,” in its sixth week the song records its largest total chart points.

“Bloody Samaritan” by Ayra Stars rises 4-2 at TurnTable Top 50 to the top chart of the artist’s chart. The song reached 48.2 million (up 21.7%), 7.35 million (up 26.7%) and 1.89 million equivalent streams (up 7.4 percent ).

It is the biggest hit song in the chart for a solo female entry – beyond the 4th peak of “Away” by Ayra Starr. With regard to Mavin Records, the only thing behind the graphic-topping juggernaut of “Feeling” is the second-largest single under the label.

“Understand” is another week in Omah Lay’s No.3 since it has been charting the top three chart areas for its first ten weeks still.

The “Peru” rebounds Fireboy DML on the top 50 after 52,8 million radio reach (25,7% higher) to No. 1, 1.68 million equivalent streams (11.3% higher) and 4,72 million TV reaches (up 8.25 percent ).

After opening at No 2 last week, Adekunle Gold & Davido’s “High” retreats to No. 5. High radio reached 38.9 million (up 12.8%), equivalent streams 1.49 million (down 42.2%) and TV reach 1.20 billion (up 12.8%). (up 317 percent ).

“Question” with Burna Boy and Don Jazzy takes a week later at No 6 and heads up the 15.6 million television chart. This makes Burna Boy the first artist to record four No. 1 TV chart songs.

“Sinner” with Lucky Daye of Adekunle Gold is stable on No. 7, while the Son of Tiwa Savage and Brandy climbs on No. 8. This is the first women’s partnership to reach the top 10 of the TurnTable Top 50 region. The top diagram entry is also for both artists (Brandy’s first diagram entry).

Radio reaches were 44.3 million (up to 48.8%), and equivalent streams were 324,000. (up 1.3 percent ).

The top ten list of the Top 50 rounds this week; Ladipoe & Buju’s “feeling” drops from 8 to 9 in the top ten of its 19th week. It’s the same as the record for Omah Lay’s “Godly” for the longest song in the top ten regions.

The “Monalisa” of Lojay & Sarz comes back to its top No. 10 on the TurnTable top 50 – the song is expected to grow in the next few weeks after its official video premiere.

Just before the top 10, Terms debuts at No. 16, “Crazy Tings” It’s the artist’s 4th and 3rd top twenty entry in the chart.
