Gregg Leakes, the husband of American reality TV star Nene Leakes, has died.
After a long battle with colon cancer, Leakes died on September 1, 2021.
“Today the Leakes family is in deep pain with a broken heart. After a long battle with cancer, Gregg Leakes has passed away peacefully in his home surrounded by all of his children, very close loved ones, and wife Nene Leakes,” According to the family’s press release.

“We ask that you pray for peace and strength over their family & allow them to mourn in private during this very very difficult time.”
Over the weekend, Nene revealed that her husband was battling cancer.
NeNe and Gregg were married for the first time in 1997 but divorced in 2011. In 2013, they remarried.
Brentt, their 22-year-old son, is their only child.
