Beenie Man, a dancehall star, was allegedly detained by Ghanaian National Security operatives.

Beenie Man, a Jamaican dancehall legend, is said to be in the hands of National Security operatives.

According to Ghanaweekend.com, Beenie Man was arrested for supplying a forged COVID-19 vaccination card.

Last week, the music superstar arrived in Accra to support Ghana’s Stonebwoy at his Bhim Nation concert.

When Beenie Man arrived in Ghana on December 19, 2021, he allegedly tested positive for COVID-19 and was quarantined.

Stonebwoy’s Bhim Concert, which was held on December 21, 2021 at the Accra International Conference Centre’s Grand Arena.

He is accused of producing a forged clearance certificate from the Ghana Health Service, which has sparked an investigation by Ghanaian security officials.
